Tyagaraja Aaradhana music fest held

Hyderabad: The 179th Aradhana Utsavam of Sadguru Sri Tyagaraja Swamy was celebrated under the aegis of the 'Sanskriti Foundation' in Hyderabad on Sunday. The organisers, who have been conducting this musical extravaganza for the past 11 years, made this year's celebrations a spectacular event. The highlight of the celebrations, the group rendition of the Pancharatna Kritis, captivated devotees and music lovers alike. Approximately 600 vocalists and over 700 musicians – a total of 1,500 people – sang Saint Tyagaraja's compositions in unison, transforming the Shilparamam premises into a spiritual realm. The diverse performances by renowned scholars and young artists from the Telugu states, held over the past seven days at the CCRT venue, culminated in this grand celebration.
